What is your ‘Good Fight’?
I am passionate about helping organisations communicate their message to build understanding and engagement. There are extraordinary causes and ideas out there and many of them could connect with the public better through clarifying their story, understanding how to access the media better, and by telling their story in ways that really connect with their different audiences, stakeholders and customers.
I’ve spent my career so far helping organisations do that, and to the extent that I have a good fight, then I guess that is what it is. While I’m currently on maternity leave I’m volunteering with Peckham Platform who are going through a huge transformation. They have the opportunity to make a massive impact on the lives of those living in Peckham and also reframe everyone’s understanding of the social impact of art.
What do you need to realise your goal?
In terms of my good fight, I’m always looking for opportunities to support good causes, and bring some of my expertise to bear on their communication and engagement challenges. I need connections to people who could benefit from the type of work I do.
